Data location summary
Service shape in one place
Burdgen is a hosted control plane plus optional local execution. Browser access, repository authorization, and runner pairing are separate grants.
Authorized repositories
GitHub connection authorizes which repositories may be read or watched. It is not Burdgen account login under Zahir admission.
Paired runner
A Mac or Linux runner you enroll executes work in an authorized local workspace and uploads results to hosted Burdgen.
Preview access
Hosted Burdgen may be invitation-only or otherwise limited by the deployment’s admission configuration. Joining the interest list does not grant access. Entitlement and account authority are separate from repository and runner grants.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accounts, repositories, and machines you authorize; for the instructions and attachments you submit; and for reviewing run results before you treat a change as accepted. Completing a run describes execution, not product acceptance.
Acceptable use
- Use Burdgen only with data, repositories, and machines you are authorized to access.
- Do not use Burdgen to violate the law or the rights of others.
- Do not attempt to bypass admission, entitlement, repository authorization, or runner revocation.
Data you submit
Requests, uploads, connected repository records, and runner-reported output may include source code and other project content. Local execution does not keep all of that material on your machine. See the Privacy page for the current data-location account.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Integrations and runtimes may change or stop working as providers and operating systems update.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of Burdgen. Keep backups of important work outside the service.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. The “Last updated” date and version history reflect the current document.
